Thoughts during a late summer evening

Not sure if there is such thing as asking too much when I'm not usually the one to ask
I feel weird allowing my pride to disappear or ease up --
My guard is down but my brain will not allow me to stop thinking
What could possibly happen if I keep it down for too long?
Just a thought...

So where are all the hot spots at this summer?

Time is going by absolutely too fast for my comfort
23 is around the corner and I feel further from my goals than ever
This recession is only going to get harder so I hope all the middle classers are prepared

There is a light at the end of the tunnel and we will all get through as long as me
stay focused on what we want

So there is this guy-- he drives me crazy but he is the water that keeps me afloat.

He believes in me and admires my strengths.

My love for him is like the feeling you get after you realize that your prayers have been answered...Kanye said it right... so amazing!

Men & Women

Its funny how men get upset at how society down plays their roles when it comes to parenting. As mothers,wives and daughters we cook,clean,take care of you (husband ) and the children not to mention trying to ke ep our families together. Men, continue to work hard w/and for us... don't forget to remind us of how we got to where we are and the beauty in what will keep us together in the future. I'm not saying that men are the subordinates. I am saying that a good man will play his role and not leave everything for their woman to do. No one is perfect as I know I am not. As for those men who are working for their family..being a "bread winner" does not eliminate the fact that your wife/girlfriend can't have everything together all the time. So try to help her pick up the pieces when you get in. The smallest things make a world of difference ;)

The inevitable--Change

How do you deal with change?
There is so much that is changing as we speak.
We can be active in the change and/or adapt to it OR
we can just deal with it, right?

the economy
gas
or children
relationships
our social lives

Learn to not plan too much. Set standards for yourself
and refuse to settle for less, if you settle then you will be
the oly one hurt in the end--i'm just sayin
